What Makes CELP Special?
Not just offering standard daycare service for young children, CELP incorporates unique techniques to help your child develop socially, mentally, and physically. The small enrollment size and "home-like" setting means that young children feel comfortable and have fun spending time away from home. The large backyard allows plenty of room for fun outdoor activities, including water play during the summer and snow play during the winter. Children can also choose to play on the castle structure, in the sandbox, with the water table, or just running around and jumping in leaves!
CELP is licensed by the Massachusetts Early Education and Care Department and operates under the auspices of the Carlisle Kids' House. Our facility provides a homey atmosphere with opportunities for a wide variety of developmentally stimulating activities both indoors and out.
Enrollment is currently being accepted for children ages 2.9 years to pre-K. The program operates weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. and offers a variety of scheduling options to accommodate your needs.
About the Early Literacy Program
The preschool uses the Harcourt curriculum, a well-tested method of literacy development that teaches spoken language, reading, and comprehension through multi-sensory interaction with letters, sounds, and stories. Phonics and decoding skills are taught in an environment that encourages repeated exposure through listening, letter manipulation, games, and creative activities. The curriculum for the current month is available for viewing online for both current parents and those interested in the learning strategies of CELP.
About the Preschool Staff
The staff at CELP is experienced, well-educated, and knowledgeable in the field of child development and early childhood education. The Teacher/Director is an accomplished administrator with extensive academic and "hands-on" experience and has worked with children for over 25 years and remains up-to-date on the latest early childhood education techniques.
